Y'ALL. There has been GLEE in the past twenty-four hours.

I don't want to choose either. Vecchio AND Kowalski. Danny AND Casey. Chaucer AND Wat. Ed AND Greg. My boys come in pairs (and sometimes in threes and sometimes in the dirty way and sometimes not. WHAT?) and that makes me happy (and them, obv. La la la.)

I hope you get your reconciliation - I fear for the state of your fingernails should no resolution be forthcoming. *smishes*

No, not really. For one thing, I was just using the first examples in my head. For another, I mentioned threes and used presupposition to assume that Brynn knew I included Fraser in that, given that I draw the OT3 on a reasonably regular basis. I can only have one favourite pairing for a fandom, though, nos - the definition doesn't allow for two - and you know that Ray/Ray is that for me in dS. It's not the same as declaring myself a Vecchio girl or a Kowalski girl and effectively choosing sides that way. It's about OTPs, or something similar, and that's a whole 'nother discussion.

And it's not so much the having a favo(u)rite--I have my favorites, too--as it is the apparent need to DECLARE that favorite all the time. You know? Like you have to be on one side or the other, and there's no middle ground. (And of course it doesn't help that I tend to find myself in lopsided fandoms, where there's a very clear fandom favorite. I don't know if OC fandom is/was that way, and I don't really want to know, but I was looking at some Cafe Press stuff yesterday that said "I'm a Seth girl" and "I'm a Ryan girl" and I was just like, oh, god, THIS AGAIN? Heh.)

Yeah, I don't know about getting a shirt about it. I think if you know me my preferences are pretty clear! :P But there's totally no need to make it exclusionary, for sure. My things is just... I love this one most and you love this one or two or three most and YAY, let us smoosh them together for great justice. *smooshes all*

That was exactly what I thought!

And... yeah. I mean, I'm totally on board with Chuck/Sarah, but the show is obviously going to get there eventually, and I wouldn't mind a Casey/Sarah detour along the way. They just have that "we understand each other in a way no one else around us does" kind of thing going on, which I dig.
