[Oh hi, Keep. It's Bryn, on video, and she's dressed in some new
clothes. They're not the usual second-hand items provided in the clothier's tower, and really not in a style she recognizes at all, but rather some from the bureau that appeared in her room some days ago. Bryn doesn't care how baggy they are because oh gosh, there were pants among

[Pause.]
...That is a rather interesting necklace.

[Bryn was very pleased to hear that, and at the mention of her necklace, she looked down to it, and then back up at her record.]
The necklace was a gift from another guest who made it for me.
[It's clear from her tone and expression that Bryn is extremely fond of it.]

[She pauses a beat, then continues hesitantly.]
Have you been well, Mimmi?
[You know, what with the zombies and everything.]

I am sorry I did not thank you for inviting me.

No apologies necessary. Like I said, I was just happy to see everyone there--oh! I meant to ask you...did you happen to see that another person from your world arrived? His name is Mads...he was a friend that was here between the first time you were here and when you came back.
[She looks so pleased to tell him this. Hooray for another friend from New America! Perhaps Nick and Mads already know each other. Wouldn't that be wonderful?]
Reply
Bryn, don't be alarmed. But Nick is going to ask you to repeat yourself. To make sure he didn't mishear you.]
Ah, por favor, could you say that one more time?

There is a man named Mads who is also from New America? When you left the first time he arrived. I got to know him a bit, and he left. Then you came back and now you are both here at the same time. I haven't had a chance to reintroduce myself but...do you know him?

I'm really glad to hear that.

And no one was turned human. You... yeah.
It was fine.

I...?
[Changing her form is something she's become rather accustomed to, but she can't be sure what it would be like for a robot to become human, or how much of a shock that might be.]
You don't like being turned human?

We should all really be thanking you, Miss Bryn.

It was no trouble and...as I said I'm just so pleased people seemed to enjoy themselves.
[She lets him lapse in calling her Miss Bryn, this once, though there might have been a small twitch to her expression when he said it.]

[He didn't miss that twitch and he...honestly has...no clue what he could have done wrong.]

[Bryn bobbed her head once, exceedingly pleased.]
It was a simple thing but I'd hoped it would make people happy.
[She paused a beat.]
I haven't seen much of you since then...I hope...you didn't get hurt during the recent troubles did you?

No, he has no idea how she got Desuyan clothing. As far as he'd known, all of it had been destroyed long ago.
But it's -something-. And it's exciting!]
It looks like you got some sort of present from our hosts, didn't you?
[It's only a guess--after all, who knew? Those sorts of clothes could be normal for her world too--but judging by the size of the clothes, he's hazarding a wild guess.]

Yes! I did, or at least, I think so. They're certainly not from my world but they're awfully comfortable, and a nice break from the Elizabethan gowns I've been wearing.

I think I know where they're from.
I got something too, but it wasn't mine. How likely is it you got my clothes instead of what was meant for you, d'you think?

I suppose it was too much to hope for that Lord Deior sent me some pants. I...I can return these at once, or if you don't mind waiting I can at least wash these ones before returning them to you. They came in a very nice bureau as well. Perhaps that is also yours?
[She pauses a beat.]
Would this mean that someone else has something of mine?
