Nick is convinced that only one or two people will show up for it. He also told their "representative" that they will need to come prepared with actual facts - Specific things said or done, and that he will tell them that I am not doing anything wrong by holding them accountable for their own actions/upholding the policies of the company ( ... )

Perhaps your errant employees need this reality check, that they won't just get their way from complaining about you. Really sucks all the way around, but some people's children...

Love the fact that your boss is backing you enforcing the rules.

After having my One-on-One discussions with 5/10 of my employees, I am even more sure that this is contained to one or two people. The 5 people I spoke with so far love their job, love their co-workers, think everything has been going really well, and had very few (if any) non-serious/pressing complaints or concerns about anything at all.

I'm beginning to feel much more optimistic about this.
