Petzi steered me to your photo post and it's odd to see all this through other eyes. It still feels like a stroll around home, though. :)
Ah...and that golden yellow colour? That is called "albero! named after a golden clay from this area which only exists and is quarried in the area of the "Alcores" near Sevilla, in my husband's home town of Alcalá de Guadaira. The colours of the earth and sky are what define Sevilla.
*g* I know that feeling so well - I'm a Londoner, so constantly surprised what people visiting see in my city (and don't see tbh).
Very cool to know about albero, thank you. It really is the most perfect contrast with deep blue sky (and whitewash, and greenery). I've always loved that shade, and am trying to keep the holiday handbag in usable shape for a few more trips. It cheers me up so much.
