After sleeping in...a lot, Ray wandered upstairs and, upon seeing Molly's door open, took out a small piece of scrap paper and tossed it at her.

The piece of paper bounced off her hat, but fell behind her. Molly didn't notice.

Ray tossed a penny at her this time.

Molly felt that and picked up the penny when it would have rolled under her bed. Frowning, she rolled over to look behind her. The frown lessened a bit when she saw it was Ray, but it didn't go away completely. "Why did you throw a penny at me?"
