 World of Warcraft lets you control some NPC allies as pets, and others more directly - their viewpoint replaces that of your character, and you "drive" them directly. Here are a few of my favorites in action.

As with the version of "Kids in America" that features Charlotte Hatherley, it sounds like what I felt like the original should have sounded like. :)

Watching you you run around as an Eyeless Wanderer -- being followed by a kitten -- gave me the giggles.

The kitten was a randomly summoned companion - RandomCompanion is great for that - and really delighted me too.
