Things are moving right along! This is apparently the last of the invasion phases, and will last until the world-changing patch 4.0.3a. Cataclysm goes live on December 7, and the Shattering event is sometime before then, so...couple of weeks of this? No sooner did I get the last post up than more stuff started in game. Also, I got curious to see how it all looked from the other faction's side, so I reactivated my often-idle troll shaman Vorluz and took her out for a spin to see sights on that side. It's a bit less than a month now until the launch of Cataclysm, and as is their wont, Blizzard is doing some in-game events to ramp up for the changes.  Lariko is my primary character at this point, the one getting my time and attention. But flexible as her options are, I sometimes want a change of pace. Each WoW race has its characteristic mounts: horses for humans, rams for dwarves, wolves for orcs, and so on. Night elves get sabers, big tiger-ish cats. Earlier in the year, Blizzard put out a promo trailer for Cataclysm that was, well, not especially impressive. It was a good feature list and had a couple intriguing glimpses, and not much more.
