Is there some sort of aura I emit that lets people think they can treat me like garbage and I'll be okay with it? Or maybe its more like: "its okay to treat her like crap because she'll just forgive me." Because I'm never okay with it.

They don't tell you this part of growing up. This weird limbo. This incredibly depressing transition. When you're little you view life as a series of stages.
