You guys, I was going to say about Brave: when's the last time you saw a movie where the plot was "a girl and her mother go on a life-changing field-trip"?

But then I realized the only movie I could think of where the plot was "a boy and his father go on a life-changing field-trip" was Finding Nemo, and really, that misrepresents the plot a bit

The terribly underrated A Goofy Movie, which I love completely unironically, is pretty much nothing but life-changing road-tripping. Can't think of an example with a mother and daughter, though.

Terminator 2 is arguably "a boy and his mother go on a life-changing field-trip (with a robot)"?
