A/N: Last Part.. :D

If there was one thing Nana hated the most was being tricked. Ueda, whom she trusted so much, seemed to have a lot more complicated history he didn't tell Nana which would get on Nana's way. She didn't like that. If Ueda actually wanted to make a new enemy, then he had chosen the wrong person. He would regret it for sure, if that was his real intention.

Nana couldn't really get a nice sleep that night, right after she heard the unexpected development. All she could possibly think about was confronting Ueda in person. And that was exactly the first thing she did when she arrived on school. It was quite early in the morning so, as expected, there weren't many students yet; a perfect time to ease her curiousity. Without wasting any time, Nana went to seek Ueda in his class and dragged him outside when she finally found him.

"What the hell is wrong with you, Nana?!" Ueda protested right when Nana finally let go of his hand. They were currently on the back garden of the school. Ueda stared at Nana with a puzzled look, completely unaware of Nana's anger.

"What is your real purpose?"

"My real purpose of what?"

"Don't fool around with me!" Nana snapped. She looked at Ueda furiously. Disappointment was clearly seen in her face. That was until she took a deep breath, trying to regain her composure again. "You are just using me, right? You know Ryo! How dare you! You didn't tell me anything!"

That left Ueda frowned. Nana was even more disappointed seeing Ueda's shocked face. It was as if he was admitting Nana's accusation. After all of the trust she put on him... Biting her lower lip, Nana stared at Ueda before opening her mouth again. "Now, would you tell me the truth? It is not the truth, right?" Even though she had told him her accusation, she still didn't want to believe it.

"Yes, I know him..." Ueda didn't deny it or try to offend himself. It was the truth, after all.

"Then you are just using me. You, you..."

"I made a mistake in the past. I hurt his friend, just before he moved away..." he didn't know that it would hurt that much to remember his own past.

####

Ueda could still perfectly remember what had happened 11 years ago.

During that time he was so fat. Nobody would ever believe that it was him whenever he showed his childhood picture. But that was just another matter.

It was not a wonder that Ueda was bullied a lot due to his far from perfect body. What made things worse was his wealth. His parents loved him so much, or rather too much, until they always gave the best to him. His bully found it so annoying and treated him even worse. Little Ueda was powerless and helpless.

That was only until Nishikido suddenly appeared. Ueda still clearly remembered how they accidentally met on that evening. It was too eventful to be forgotten. Ueda was crying as usual under a tree on the back garden of their school. Nobody had picked him up yet, everyone was too busy with their own job. Ueda had been too used to it until he couldn't even say a word of protest. So pitiful, indeed, but he didn't want to show his weakness to others.

Ueda thought that he was alone until he heard someone's voice.

'Crybaby...'

'It's none of your business.' Ueda thought that it was just one of his bullies who would do harm to him. But then, it was nobody, or at least he had never seen those face. A small boy, so small. That was the first impression Ueda had of Ryo.

No more words were exchanged between them, only some sharp glares to each other. But from that day miraculously Ueda gained more confidence and eventually his bully grew tired of him. Perhaps that small boy was his saviour, although Ueda would rather call him as his natural enemy. As the time went by, Ueda found out that they had found another prey.

It was during break time. The small boy Ueda had never met since then was seen at last. But then, it was a whole different situation. Ueda didn't know that his bully had set their eyes on that small boy.

'Nee Ueda. Punch him.' an unexpected order came from his bully. Ueda was so scared. He didn't really dare to disobey it, yet he didn't want to harm that small boy. '...Or, don't say that you want to replace his place.'

Only that single sentence. Ueda was frowned. He didn't want to re-do those nightmare. His hands were shaking so hard as he walked closer to approach that small boy. Ueda slowly closed his eyes and when he opened it again, his punch met another boy who was shielding that small boy.

'Uchi!' that small boy shouted.

'It's alright, Ryo...'

Ueda's body was shaking hard. Laughter was heard but he couldn't indentify whose. He could feel a death glare sent directly to him. Ryo... Ueda finally knew his name. But then he was the bad guy here. When Ueda realized it, he had skipped 2 days of school.

Ueda realized that he had done something so wrong, so he was thinking about asking for apologize when he found out that Ryo had quitted school. It was his fault...his fault...

"I would really love to pity you if only you were not using me." Nana said, still with a disappointed look on her face. "Why did you agree to help me, then? Tell me!"

Ueda's mouth curving up a small smile when he heard Nana's demand. "I would never know his family name if only I didn't overhear what my teacher was talking that day. Nishikido, eh?" the smile looked so lonely yet Nana failed to notice that because of her disappointment. "When you ask me your help... I don't know. I won't explain anymore than this. Just do whatever you like, Nana."

And Nana decided that it was the end when she heard that sentence. Looking at Ueda for the last time, Nana walked away and left Ueda alone. From now on she would do it alone, and she would make sure that Ryo would definitely be hers...

####

Ryo sat on one of the bench in the park. Yesterday's incident...he still couldn't get what Ueda really meant by that. Had they met before? It was impossible. Ryo had a good confidence on his memory while he didn't even have the slightest memory of meeting Ueda before. Could it be that Ueda was lying? But he would get nothing even if he did so, or at least that was what Ryo assumed.

Ryo touched his chest with his right hand. It hurt. Whenever he thought about Ueda, he would feel the pain. It was nothing that big but it had occupied Ryo's mind. He failed to understand his own feeling, and now there were no use of mourning over his foolishness.

"Ryo - chan~" Ryo had completely forgotten Nana if he didn't hear a female voice calling him. Was it a dream? But it wasn't. The sight waiting for Ryo when he turned around was Nana. Suddenly he was reminded of yesterday's incident. What did Ueda mean with Nana here? Or rather, what did Nana have to do with this? Ryo couldn't find the answer at all.

"What are you doing here alone, Ryo - chan?" Nana asked before immediately secured her seat next to Ryo.

"Just spending my time. And you? Why aren't you going with..." he paused for a while, "...Ueda?" Right, he's Nana's boyfriend. Now that makes sense.

While Ryo's mind was occupied by his own confusion, Ryo failed to notice that there was a big change on Nana's expression. He could feel the pain in his check again. Since when did he get jealous over him?

"Nee, Ryo - chan..." Nana's voice was deep, deep enough to make the confused Ryo noticed the difference. "Tell me, what if..." she stopped, both eyes were gazing at Ryo daringly. "What if it was all a lie? What if, there's nothing between Ueda and me at the first place? What if..." Nana bit her lower lip, "...the guy I trully like is Nishikido Ryo?"

Both of Ryo's eyes were widened as he heard that. He blinked and rubbed his eyes but it was all the truth.

"I-I'm sorry, Nana..."

Eyes were teary while cheeks were redder. Nana looked at Ryo in disbelief. "Why Ryo, why? I'll do anything. So please..."

"I really am so sorry, Nana. I just can't..."

"Because of Ueda?" even without waiting for the answer, Nana could clearly see that it was the case. "He doesn't love you. He doesn't... I love you..." tears falling down from her eyes while Ryo didn't have the courage to see it.

"I'm sorry..." he mumbled again. The sunset was so beautiful yet Ryo's heart was not in peace. That was the last view seen that day, the red sky while Nana's sob was heard...

####

Many things started changing since that day. Nana together with Ueda was not the sight which could be seen anymore. Instead, Nana was always together with the guy who used to wait her every day at school. While Ueda was nowhere in sight.

After that day, Nana always stayed by Ryo's side, although it was clear that she was rejected. But Ryo said nothing even when Nana hold his hand and acted like his girlfriend. He simply let her did whatever she wished. Guilt made Ryo did it all. He had made Nana disappointed while he was the one promised to protect her when they first met. It was ironic how Ryo managed to make Nana cried at the end. That meant he was no different than the boys teasing nana, right? Ironic...

Too many things had happened, and it was not easy for Ryo to digest it all. He had never seen Ueda again since then which was quite fortunate. Ryo knew that he wouldn't like Ueda seeing him like this. Besides, he still didn't know what Ueda really meant last time. So then everything would be alright as long as he didn't need to meet Ueda. He rarely felt the pain these days although it didn't mean that he had lost it completely.

But he didn't know that his nightmare would come true that fast.

It was already evening. Ryo was standing alone in the same park, trying to enjoy the moment of sunset. A few moments later, he could feel the presence of another person, or rather he guessed Nana, but remained silent about it. It had been days... Ryo took a short glance on Nana and sighed. He had to endure it, at least until Nana was able to realize the fact.

Another sigh escaped from Ryo's mouth. This was hard. He thought he would be able to adjust it well, to hold up a bit longer...but it turned out that he was not as strong as he thought he would be. Too bad that his pride was crushed on this moment.

There weren't much people around the park. It was not that hard for Ryo to count the exact number. 1...2...3... Ryo's eyes were suddenly widened. Was that...Ueda?

"Ah, Nana, Nishikido." that Ueda-lookalike, who turned out to be the real one, walked closer and approached him. This should not be the truth...

"Tat - chan..." If only Ryo was not too shock by the current situation, he would have realized the change in Nana's tone while her hand suddenly held his.

"What are you two doing here?" Ueda simply took a short glance on them before a small smile appeared in his mouth. "Ah, I must have disturbed both of you. I'm sorry. I'll take my leave immediately." Ueda turned around, but before he took another steps, he stopped all of a sudden. "And by the way, congratulation." with that Ueda walked away, leaving them.

Why...?

Ryo could feel the slight pain in his chest. It hurt. How could Ueda simply walk away as if nothing had happened? Ryo had to ask him. That was the only thing he could think about now. But when he was about to walk, a hand pulled his.

"Don't go!"

"I have to, Nana." Ryo knew that he would hurt Nana even more by this but now he had chosen his first priority, even if it would mean to see Nana's cry.

"He doesn't deserve it. He... He..."

Ryo patted Nana's head. "I'm sorry Nana."

"Stop apologizing to me." Nana suddenly snapped. Her expression was undescribeable anymore. "I-I'm tired of it all. He was the one who hurt you, who made you transferred here, who...who..."

Was that the truth? But it was impossible. Ryo could clearly remember that boy, that fat crybaby boy... If that was the real case then Ryo really had to catch him. No, what Ryo really wanted was hearing everything from his mouth.

"J-Just go..." Nana suddenly said. "I-I'm so tired, Ryo. No matter what, I'll lose. Just...go." as she said that, she ran away while tears kept coming out from her eyes.

Ryo was frowned. But then he knew what his heart really wanted. With that, he hasted his way to follow Ueda...

####

Ueda smiled. But somehow he could feel that he was only forcing his smile, not smiling earnestly from his heart.

He was walking randomly along the road. Stupid him, indeed. Ueda should have felt relieved that his job was accomplished. But strangely, he could feel something strange. It was as if his heard wanted to say something else.

Ueda knew that he had to help Nana the first time Nana mentioned Ryo's name and asked for his help. It was absurd indeed, but Ueda knew that he had to do it, at least to pay a little bit of his sin. It was such a coincidence that he was able to know Nana, who had quite a good relationship with Nishikido Ryo.

He wanted Ryo to be happy. At first, he thought that Ryo was way too insensitive to understand his real feeling. But their act developed into something unexpected. Ueda had never thought that Ryo would confess to him. But then, it was because Ryo didn't realize who he really is. If only he knew, he would definitely despise Ueda.

The only thing Ueda wanted the most was to say sorry. But he shouldn't, at least not now, or it would just ruin everything.

But the sudden appearance of the main cast was the least thing he wanted.

"You are...alone."

Ueda was startled, although there should be a secret beneath his calmness. "What are you doing here, Nishikido? Where's Nana?"

Ueda hated it so much when he couldn't get the answer he wanted, and that was exactly the thing Ryo did; simply stood up in silence. The stared he got...at that moment Ueda realized that he had known the truth, well at least Nana had told him something concerning his past.

"You have known it. So I don't have anything to do with you anymore I guess, Nishikido." he said in a cold tone. "I guess you are going to take your words back now."

The same silence was there again. It was so hard. The air was so tense. Ueda didn't even bother to open his mouth again, simply waiting for Ryo to show any respond, either positive or negative. Ueda was ready to accept it.

"Not really. I want to hear it, directly? There's something wrong with my hearing recently."

It was impossible, of course. Ueda was not that stupid to not recognize that. "I can only ask for apologize. Nothing more. Now if you'll excuse me..." he was ready to leave, especially after his mission was finally fully accomplished.

"I guess you still owe me an explanation, or rather, an answer."

"Answer?" Ueda stared at Ryo with a puzzled face.

"Yes, answer. You still haven't forgotten what we were talking about a few days ago, right?"

It took a moment for Ueda to think until he was able to understand what Ryo meant with his sentence. "Oh, that." he replied, short. "I don't really know. Besides, I don't think I am allowed to pick any answer. You should have hated me, I guess."

"Not really. Or rather, I've forgotten it. But indeed, you are...different now."

"Until you weren't able to recognize me immediately?" a small smirked appeared in Ueda's face.

"Well, I guess yes..." Ryo smirked.

"I hate that part of you."

"I can fix that, later, not now though. So bear with it."

"You'll regret it, Nishikido."

"Hmm... It's not you who can decide it for me."

"I really hate you."

"Oh, really? I like you, though. And stop denying your undying love to me."

"Who says that I'm in love with you?"

"I do." Ryo laughed.

And the scene was ended with laughter when Ueda followed Ryo's steps. Happy end? Not really. As this was only the start of something, a story where Ryo and Ueda took the main role...

E/N: o.O
I don't know what to say actually. Started with narrations and ended with dialogues. Hope that this is realistic enough, or at least doesn't look that strange.
