I flew home for the weekend and I saw Greg Brown tonight! He was as wonderful as his records make him out to be, although I was sad that he mostly played unfamiliar songs. He's so charismatic and funny and touching.

Okay, so I know you are all way too busy, but does anyone want to go see Danny Schmidt with me at the Mississippi Pizza Pub in N. Portland on Thursday at 6pm? Tickets are in the range of $9-10.

I guess it's a good sign that a late night spent working in my thesis lab feels satisfying instead of awful. It's a pretty nice place to work, with big speakers I can plug into my iPod or computer, and big windows, and comfy office chairs. And it's good to be making some headway.
