I know this might not be your reason for taking GRE now, since you're planning to go to grad school in a year anyway, but I found out that they're not changing the format in the fall after all, I guess because they decided it was bad (the official reason was something about "accessibility," which didn't make sense to me). Also, I took a practice test the other day and would have done fine except that I forgot about the antonym question type, and got one for my first question and picked the thing that was closest to being a definition of "subdue." So clearly I need to study a little. Oh, but the moral of this is that there's a free practice test on the Princeton Review site (you have to register, but its free) if you want to do one that's adaptive on your computer (the GRE ones only work on PCs).
