i like how "weaker sex" is the only synonym that's considered to be "informal or slang" while every other word (see: cupcake, chichi, fox) is definitely more likely to be used as a lady's nickname or word used in a cat-call. i'm having a difficult time imagining a pervert sticking his head out of a car to yell, "hey, weaker sex! i like the way you mooove!"
