I'm listening to the RENT movie soundtrack. Me likes! Granted that not every song from the Broadway musical is there, even if the OST is a double disc album, but I think it's still good. Then again, I'm not exactly a Renthead, so I wonder what their opinions will be *cough*miyachan*cough

I haven't heard the movie soundtrack yet. I know I will at some point, but I'm okay with waiting for the movie to come out first. Oh, I'm prepared to hate the movie. xD

I am an adaptation/theater snob. ^^ I saw the local production of Rent, and some bootleg versions of the Broadway production. With 'Rent' in Chris Columbus' hands, I have little faith. xD

Defying Gravity... I like the duet. I actually d/led the album after listening to that :P That song is actually pretty sad, both parties stating their case and realizing that the other person don't want the same thing, with one person going against the mainstream ideal... the end of a relationship. Aw. Er, didn't mean to make it so slash-hoyaytastic, but sometimes they sound that way... to me :p. But ya know, parting of friends based on differences of principle, always sad ^^
