You always have such fantastically detailed posts, I don't even know where to begin. :)

It freaks me out to no end to read about your adventure getting to the airport. Please, I'm begging, next time take a later flight if at all possible. BEGGING.

Anyway, enjoy your time!

Hahaha, oh man, I remember taking Easyjet to Prague at like 6.15, and had to wait forever in the check-in and then at the security point. Overnight at Stansted is not my idea of a good time. Sleeping on the flight = not happened.

At least the trip went well despite the flight. (It was cheap; so I can't complain.)

Can't wait to hear more! :)

Ah! Budget flights from London. How well I remember. The therapy obviously isn't working.

Still, I'm very jealous. I'd love to be travelling again.

On a completely different topic, I saw Bishop Spong a few weeks ago. I even got to have a short chat with him and his wife. Amazing man. Very funny too. If I must be jealous of your travelling I thought I'd make you jealous of me somehow.

One of the most noticeable things for me when travelling is exactly the "people don't give a flying fuck about health and safety" -thing. Here you'd get fined for not wearing a seatbelt in a car, and probably get arrested if you dared to put your child at the back of your bike without a helmet & safety seat, you see warning signs everywhere that has the slightest danger of *anything* even if it's the most ridiculously self-evident thing... and then you hop on a plane and suddenly there are no seatbelts -not ever doors- in some (or most) cars, kids are happily hanging on to a frame of the bike with no helmet -let alone safety seat- in sight, and even 50 m drop next to a waterfall has no warning sign or fence anywhere near it. I'm totally fascinated by this every single time I experience it!
