Oh look, 76,000 Covid-related deaths and counting. Hospitals around the country are either FULL, or nearly full, with Covid patients with complications (as well as the usual selection of patients; always more at this time of year because Seasonal Illnesses, even with 'flu jabs being administered to more people than ever this year.)

I hope your NHS workers are given pay raises after the last year we've all had.

It was mentioned after Lockdown 1, only to be told that actually, nurses still had an ongoing agreement which updated their pay in place for the next year at least (maybe longer, I forget.)

All I can say is that it's just as well the rate of inflation is so low right now. Though what with Brexit and everything else . . .
