Oh boy, they've gone and bombed Syria.  Again.

Like the regime took so much notice the last time!

Yes, I know, you can't just let governments go round using chemical weapons.  Particularly not against their own people; but also not against anyone.  Although the attack on Douma last week was only a 'suspected' chemical attack

The world is a very sad place, these days. Bombs, chemical weapons, institutionalised xenophobia et j'en passe.

As S said one day, "We need to remember that someone else's gain doesn't necessarily mean my loss."

And if other people get to have even halfway decent lives, rather than the misery of poverty - then, surely, we all benefit. Don't we?
