Following the Grenfel Tower tragedy local councils have been testing the cladding they had put onto their tower blocks.  So far the cladding on 60 of the buildings in 25 different local authorities (including two in Portsmouth) has failed basic fire safety tests.  The two Portsmouth blocks are being stripped of their cladding as I write - leaving

Apparently it's going to take a month to have the towers "fixed". I'm quite skeptical about that..
