Okay:
Sorry for taking so long to read this. Started at the same time as I read the other, but then had to run and after the first paragraph had decided this deserved my full attention.
I was glad I gave it my full attention.
This was amazing. It really pulled on my emotions, and I feel so much for Cecil. All of them, really. If you do expand on this, I would love to read it.
Wow.

Denial may more be the case since Cecil and Kain struck me as butch gay. It is harder to belive they are gay if they don't have stereotypical homosexual tendencies. Could you see Kain bitching about running out of hair product or matching his chestplate to his chain mail?
I am hoping that you aren't the type of writer that goes fetal position in a shower eating cookies at the thought of criticism so if you are I did like the idea and the writing style. Rock on!

No, I don't mind criticism at all! This was for a request, initially, which explains the one-directional triangle thing. Cecil --> Kain --> Rosa --> Cecil. (IT'S A TRIANGLE I SWAR.)
And I'm not sure about Rosa. She doesn't have all that much of a personality in the game, so I don't think it's much of a stretch to say she might love Cecil that much - so much that she'd be willing to let him go to Kain. I honestly think of it more as, say, her invitation to a polyamorous relationship, just not really in that name, since Baron is a feudal society.
At the same time, she might be the selfish sort of girlfriend/wife. All we know is that she cares strongly about Cecil, and so I just took it in one direction.
I really do appreciate your thoughts! I could talk on this game for HOURS.
