Whilst looking for earrings, CD book was recovered. Its absence had been making me irrationally discomfitted.

Well, not so irrational, given its afore stated diary function.

I'd really better chain it to something, somehow, if I'm going to avoid other occasions of anxiety over its whereabouts...
