I should know being of catholic stock, from what you said I'm guessing from Shrove Tuesday to Easter?I should up my dietage regime...get rid of my belly ...xx

Yep, more or less - technically from Ash Wednesday to Easter Saturday, cos Shrove Tuesday is the pancake blow out before Lent begins, and Easter Sunday is the chocolate eggs-travaganza (TM umpteen million Lenten supermarket advertising campaigns) to celebrate Jesus's resurrection after death, when three days after the crucifixion he hatched out of a Rolo egg left by the Easter Bunny outside the tomb.
