Interesting but you lost me on The Death Penalty. Especially the mutilation aspects.

As for the Bali bombers, they are fanatics who's aberrant cult of Islam leads them to seek death at the hands of "the enemy" (ie everyone not in the cult). Personally i'd like to see them kept alive beyond all reasonable measures rather than rewarded with death.

Might be a nitpick, but as much as we'd like it, Larissa (Greens) isn't a sitting Senator.

She is, however, an amazing woman who would be exemplary in that position.
