All good things must come to an end, it seems. Eomer is a relatively recent favourite for me, so this is a treat. Very interesting that Legolas calls him Elessar rather than Aragorn - a big indication that things have changed.

Eomer & Boromir were always my two favorites when reading the books while growing up. That hasn't changed. *g*

Their relationship has indeed changed and it's time for aragorn to move on.
