I do hope the talking is about making Elessar see he can't have everything, all the time.

Poor 'Mer! *Goes to comfort him until Legolas returns or in case he doesn't* He must be devastated after seeing the kiss :(

I'm most certain that Legolas is quietly going to explain that he's moved on and with someone else, and Aragorn should go back to his lovely bride. *g*

But Legolas definitely knows he's got some reassuring to do where Eomer is concerned as well. I think he'll be up to the task. ;)

Oh, I have a massive thing for them. They're just so pretty together, all blond & fierce & soft-spoken, yet authoritative. Mmmmmmm...

This was very enjoyable (though I admit more detail about Eomer and Legolas's "ride" would have made it even more enjoyable). Legolas had a nice sense of ease about him, and Eomer's uncertainty was endearing.

Ah, well, I write a lot of fic. *laughs*

I love the books, but I'll be the first to admit that, while Tolkien had built a magnificent world and a great story to frame it with, he was a horrible storyteller. His writing is far too dry and scholarly for the passion of his characters and the doings of Middle Earth.

I am glad the characters in this resonated, though. I don't write FPS very often - and mostly, it's Eomer/Legolas (go figure *g*) - but it's not a style that I can see myself writing all that often. I'm happy they seemed clear to you.

I have a feeling, however, that Legolas will definitely have some 'reassuring' to do once he finishes his talk with Aragorn. Somehow, I think Eomer will be alright with that. *g*
