...Oh dear. I think I just died a little. Considering I hold those three movies as The Ultimate Love Story Ever Told, I know exactly what you're getting at.

Speaking of K/S, I know you have many other things, but is there another Ship's Closet ep or Commentary chapter in the works? I'm on the edge of my seat over "Journey to Babel" being next in the Commentary, actually. I refer to it as "Kirk Meets His (Future) In-Laws" in my brains.

Just watched eps 1-5, and holy fucknuggets, I'm flailing and terrified and a huge mushy pile of "GAH. MEN. BEING MASCULINE. AND SUPER, SUPER DEVOTED TO EACH OTHER."

And the humor! The pretending to be other people! The lying! The gambling! The sheer terror! The bleeding! GAH, I'M SO SCREWED, CAPTAIN. BUT DON'T BOTHER TO SAVE ME, I'M ENJOYING IT. IT'S LIKE THE FANDOM SEX I DIDN'T KNOW I WANTED.

I fell so hard for Supernatural, it's not even funny. I watched it all right before the sixth series started.

I get why people ship Sam/Dean. I do. The things they do and say, just... gah! Makes me spazz, but I still don't particularly like the idea of Wincest. Though, I've read some threesome fics with Wincest involved, I don't know if I could read an actual Sam/Dean fic. Personally, my main ship is Dean/Castiel:D

Regardless, I love this show sfm.

I'm so glad you did a Gaywatch on Supernatural!

It's one of my biggest obsessions, like woah, and it has been for years. It's such an amazing, clever show and as always you articulated that much better than I could. It drives me crazy that SPN isn't more popular-- it's the only show I've ever seen that has made me cry, and also made me laugh so hard I cried.

[[[this is spoiler-free, but about season 6...if anybody hasn't seen it yet maybe don't read just in case]]]

I gotta say though, I had so many problems with season 6... I'd love to hear your opinion on it as a whole and on the finale in particular. I don't think I can forgive season 6 unless 7 is just as amazing as seasons 1-5, and right now I don't trust Sera Gamble to lead. I'm totally terrified-but-desperate to watch 7, like a kid peaking through their fingers at a scary movie. What do you think?

I had no problems with season six. How else do you go on after an arc that lasted five seasons? Season six was all about aftermath and the consequences that come with something as absolutely epic as what happened at the end of season five. Sam's storyline broke my heart, Dean's storyline broke my heart, their relationship story broke my heart, the civil war was a brilliant idea, Crowley is amazing, they built on Castiel's character and gave him one hell of a story, what more could anyone ask for

Of course I still love the show (true love forever, me and SPN) I just felt like season 6 as a whole wasn't on par with past seasons. Usually I love about every episode in a season, with a few (almost none)'meh' episodes scattered in there. With this season I felt like it was reversed, with most of the episodes being just okay, with a few really amazing ones...idk, if I had to list specific problems I'd say there seemed to be plots that started up and then basically fell by the wayside, and sometimes the characterization seemed off (which may be due to the bunch of new writers they had on?). That's why I'm hoping season 7 will somehow wrap some of this up for me

I love SPN dearly but just can't deal with Wincest. Dean/Castiel, however, is A+ for me.

Where are you watching it? I've been following your watches on tumblr (which are hilarious btw) and am tempted to start watching it myself. Is it online or DVDs or what?
