novel, gay, ship's closet, chris pine, zachary quinto, getting somewhere, slash

The movie is a character driven horror/drama where the serial killer is the main character, and the short film is a sort of music video about the wife of a marine. I might have varied tastes. =X

I can totally deal with no Ship's Closet if I can read this! I think you broke my mind with that picture. Chris Pine and Zach Quinto are smexy men. XDD

How's your progress with the book going? :)

Aw, thanks for asking! The book turned into a screenplay, and it's going as well as prep work can. =)

You're welcome!I was trying to write a book myself for NaNoWriMo and I failed XP I might get back to it once Christmas break hits though. Stupid research papers. But I like hearing about people's who have projects that are going well! =D Will we get to read any of it??

I was planning on posting a scene or two when the first draft is completed and I've had it registered with the WGA for copyright protection. I have no idea which scene(s) I'll post, but it will most likely be from the first half.

If I ever get a novel idea that STAYS a novel idea, I really want to try NaNoWriMo to see how a first draft turns out under that kind of pressure.

Sweet :) I wish you the best in getting everything finished! It sounds like it's gonna be awesome when it's done!

NaNo is a lot of fun, but hard if you have a lot going on in your life at the time. I've been doing it for 3 years now and the biggest word count I've reached is 20,000. NaNo also sponsors a thing in April that's the same thing but for screenplays, and instead of reaching a certain word count, you have to get a certain number of pages. I want to try it in 2011. :D
