You see, people don't hate any individual citizen of the US! But on the whole some ideas may irritate. As a part of another cultuaral conext I can see the problem from a distance that 1. the way of being too militaristic frightenes which gives not so many pleasant vibrations 2. You look a bit like a kid yes, Jesus said : be like kids - but too pampered so to say. 3. supeman-like perception of the world based now not on salvation of the poor on behalf of all the good against evil but on finantial privileges, it evokes egoistic ambition to be the first in everything and stimulates egocentrism. 4. In all the world there are lots of talented and high IQ people - and all they go to you to study and work in the insitutes for the US because they are not paid adequately in their motherlands. - you are no guilty in it, it's just the way of things. All in all the nation's flaw is that US people concentrated much on materialistic way of life. I don't want 2 upset u)) I'm Russian and everybody looks askance at Russians in the world and I know why ( ... )

Wow, I really didn't think anyone would comment on my entry, but all in all, I do agree with you and no, you didn't upset me. Also, I see everyone equally, with misconceptions regardless on nationality.

When it comes to policies, sometimes I feel as though the U.S is racking up the bills for no (good) general use. I do truthfully feel as though instead of spending billions of dollars on things as immigration laws, though they are important, we should fund some sort of program that will actually make a positive change in other countries.

Then, when people think of a nation other than their own, they look upon it with awe not hatred nor jealousy., because that nation is one of admiration, anyone from there wouldn't be shy about it.

Brittany, if only there were so many people as you in the world it would turn into heaven!)) world ambition unfortunately is not to help each other but to be the first. Taking just for instance arms race, and, well, I've been thinking lately - the NASA enterprise in exploring the space: you're cool in science investigation, I've learnt a lot of new things really, my congratulations!, but what is a joke about commercialization of the space (!), cosmic tourizm and like (your taxes also go on it evidently), and all it under the auspices of one country...Money is apt to be the most precious thing but it's not, intellect is not as well, it's awfully strange, I think God exists and She or He looks on it having fun. It's all politics and it's clear that I can do nothing and live my own life the way it's just better. And also I think that there grows a number of conscious people that can tell apart good and evil, that care and realize that it's better to clean up yourself inside, help each other and care, we're all the one. I speak about ( ... )

I would't like to hurt anyone with my words, really. There are a lot more to say about our nation actually and any other, it's not right to criticise. It's better to see the benefits of all)
