Deposit Saga: Cheque Questions

Thanks to everybody who responded to my question about getting my deposit back. It turned out that the estate agent didn't hold the deposit, the landlord did. Once they had figured that one out, they called up the landlord and told him to send me my money. Which he did! Whee! The full amount! Double whee! £750 quid worth of whee
