For the Americans in the UK

Just a heads up for the people who can vote in US elections, but live in the UK, the last day to register to vote in the Democratic primary via the web is 1 Feburary. At VoteFromAbroad.org you can register for both the primary and the upcoming presidential election. There doesn't seem to be a similar set up for Republicans.

The way the Democrats have it set up (I haven't looked at the site someone other than OP posted above yet), the Democrats are giving overseas voters a separate delegation (set of votes) at the Convention. So rather than counting your vote with, say, Michigan if you're from there, your vote would be counted with "overseas." The overseas delegation gets 22 delegates who, according to DNC rules, get 1/2 vote each for a total of 11 votes. That puts the overseas delegation somewhere in numbers between US territories and the least populous states.

In my mind, that could be better or worse depending where you're from. Up to you. If you haven't missed the deadline for your state's primary, that's still an option.

Good republican don't leave home, unless they've joined the military to kick some foreign ass give democracy to some poor unfortunates.
