Damn I’m a fangirl

Ever since I got caught in the world of Fanfiction, I’ve known that being a fangirl was a dubious compliment. To me it implies that you are somewhat to young to be taken seriously and also that your comments are reduced to SQQEEEEEEEEEE or something with abbreviations I readily admit I do not get. brisinggammen, I join you in being a shameless fangirl in the fandom. I think that the definition of 'fangirl' morphs a bit if one is, like us...erm ..."of a certain age." There are very many writers whose work makes me squee inside; however, most times I try to leave an intelligent sounding review!

Me too, girlfriend! And we're really deeply geeky fangirls, since we met up in a place that is neither of our home countries!

Wouldn't trade it, though. I had a such a great trip meeting other fans - both fangirls and fanguys.

I'm proud to be a fangurl! I can't even list in my mind the number of authors whom I fangurl. So, be proud! Surely you're in good company?
