Getting Ready

I leave for Boston in less than two days and I'm hardly packed. Part of my procrastinating nature, I suppose. Plus, in order to fix my non-working wireless, I have to wipe the slate clean and reformat my computer. Ugh. This means backing everything up, then later reinstalling every program. I'd be dead without the NHS when I think of everything I've had. First off I was born Caesarean and my mum was really ill, then I had a growth removed from my eye and various things extracted from my nose as a child (marbles mostly...). I collapsed once at work and was in hospital pumped full of antibiotics and on a drip about 10 years ago. Then I had my road accident of course ( ... )

Besides getting my drug test done for Kohl's, I haven't been to any kind of doctor ever since I wasn't covered by my dad's heath insurance anymore. So I think that's been 5 years now. I can get away with it while I'm young and free of any serious medical problems... though I hate to think about what I'll do if I ever have some sort of emergency like that guy with his fingers.
