It's been a while since I've updated.  I've got lots of little stuff to comment on

Masters of Education. I have a lot of respect for teachers, schools, etc. I don't have a lot of respect for education degrees.

Glad education is developed there. I'd expect it to be in the former soviet world. Sadly, Afghanistan had that period with the Taliban.

Sucks about your cat. I can't even imagine someone flat out lying to me about it. :( And ya about the story!

I've told various people about the slush pile reader position and nobody's contacted you? Someone said they were interested. Wonder if applying was too much work. Sad.

No contact from potential slush readers, sadly. I suppose it's not worth prodding the interested person. I'd rather have people who are interested enough to actively follow up. Thanks for spreading the word, though.
