Colton today

Colton spent the day at the vet.  He'd have spent yesterday there except that I couldn't get him there because I couldn't drive and C had to work two shifts.  Yesterday morning he wouldn't eat and he threw up a little of the water he drank.  I'd started him on Metacam on Monday.  All I could think was that his liver had crashed.  I picked him up

Setter Zen is cool! Beardies send white light around (long story...has to do with a lost beardie and a light on a front porch to help her find her way home) We're getting help from all over the world. Thank you!!!

Good thoughts. Chums had a similar very negative reaction to Metacam - I would suspect that before anything else. It is very effective, but wicked harsh on the tum.

Poor Chums. Poor Colty! It seems to work well for some dogs and not for others. The thing that annoys me is that he tolerates Rimadyl well and I was all for staying with that. The vet wanted him to go to something *she* thought would be less of a problem. Oops. He's better toady - he keeps trying to escape to the back yard and sneak drinks of water that he's not allowed to have!
