So my mom had her surgery. Everything went well and she is recovering nicely. They used staples to close the incision in her stomach, so now it looks like a big zipper. It's pretty gross. And huge. Alyssa is the greatest. I had a blast while she was here. We had a pretty busy two and a half days. Here's a run-down of what we did while she was here, supplemented by pictures.

She got here Monday night around 6:30. Then we went to congress for pizza.
