A reverse analysis is when a person or character's traits are described in a format that makes it easier to figure out what their dæmon's form(s) would be. Basically, it's a very thorough run-down of someone's personality ( Read more... )

Really, it’s not about truths and lies. Like most foxes, manipulation is how you survive. You don’t aim to mislead people; you just try to keep yourself safe by using anything you can come up with to stay alive. You really don’t feel bad about telling a lie here and there. Most of the time, it doesn’t occur to you tell people things about yourself.

Hierarchy is an important part of your life. You automatically place yourself and others into a ranking system wherever you go, and often your social interactions are guided by how you fit in to this system. You use this pecking order to figure out who to be more cautious around (high ranking people) and who you can talk to without worrying about impressing them (low ranking people). People earn higher status in your hierarchy because you respect them ( ... )

When it comes to relationships, you fit the “monogamous” bill pretty closely. You take a long time to get close to someone and refuse to put effort into a short term relationship unless you have something to gain from that person. You aren’t exactly clingy in the traditional sense, but you need to know what’s going on with your person even if you don’t spend all your time together. Whether this person is your closest friend or SO, they will be the first person you turn to when you are in trouble or need to vent. They are one of the few people you can stand being around for an extended period of time, but even so you will need to get away after a while ( ... )

You can find a solution in anything and you will use it. If a teacher assigns an essay that your older brother already got a good grade on, you will make his essay your own and feel proud of all the hard work you’ve done. After all, you were clever enough to use it for your advantage and get away with it. You are opportunistic and take things as they come, one step at a time. You are the type to make a rough plan right away and then sit back and save the rest of dirty work for later. You are just waiting for the right moment: your method of taking things as they come keeps you calm and relatively stress-free. In the end you’ll get the job done well because you are good at thinking on your feet.

All your emotions are safely hidden away from prying eyes. The vibe you give the casual observer might be almost reptilian. Even the nosiest people will have a tough time getting to your core. As mentioned before, you are really subject to strong emotions so you are pretty good at keeping them under control. Get angry and you might snap out jokes that are crueler than usual. Sad, and you will put on a tough face and withdrawn into yourself, or seek out your bff for the comfort of their presence only. If you are happy or excited, you might be goofier than usual with your group. These glimpses of emotion, brief as they may be, are even rarer of a sight for strangers. You don’t let your guard down when you aren’t comfortable ( ... )
