I didn't know you had a Real Job Doing Science! How'd you land a gig like that?

heh. I applied through the JSPS program - I finished my PhD last year, found myself a host institution (I mean, Tsukuba *is* Science City), made up a project so I could work with a plants group, and bam! here I am. 7 months into a 2 year contract!

hmmm.... I generally do fiction, but I might try and bring some of my Japan ventures to the fore! afterall, I am having some pretty cool adventures ^_^
