Saw a display in Wal-Mart for sales of pumpkins, asking the buyers to buy lots of pumpkins (for recipes because of their "flavor"...)

WHY???

Jeebus, you have to add massive amounts of CINNAMON AND/OR NUTMEG to pumpkins to make them in the least bit palatable! They're a frikkin nasty GOURD for pete's sake!
