Thanks!

See? See! This is what I'm saying. (Okay, I sound drunk.)

He looks up at the ceiling, and there’s a thin and spindly crack leading to a brownish water spot that’s threatening to leak.

there’s this thin gold band on her left hand, a little too loose, and it keeps sliding up and down her ring finger

Sam laughs, his mouth splitting into a wide grin

These are the details that make it all live.

Gah. Good work, as usual.

You're really good at letting meaning live between the spaces of your stories. We can understand so much more than what is overtly stated, and that's fantastic. Dean's longing for home is apparent, though he never *says* it, of course. The fact that he projects his own tiredness onto the Impala, the fact that he's at home in Bobby's house, the way he reacts to seeing Jo again. It's all really beautifully done to evoke the reader's understanding. Bravo!

Wow. Thanks. :)

It's weird, because when I'm writing, I'm obviously thinking of the little details and background and whatnot, and I never really know how much of that translates into the finished fic, so I'm happy to know that it's getting across.

I really loved Dean's voice in this, it was him through and through. The scene between Dean and Jo in the bedroom just felt so REAL and at the same time so dreamy.
You kicked ass again, my dear!

Thanks!

I'm always worried that when I want things to feel "real" they end up being boring. Heh. Good to know it didn't this time!
