I may have mentioned that I had a corrupt disc that contained the Drop's neighborhood.  I tried to get it off my old comp but it seems it won't even boot at all.  Either the PC or the monitor isn't working, I don't know which, but on at least one attempt to boot it, I got the nasty BIOS noise so I suspect the comp is dead.  I don't have time to

Ugh well at least this happened after you got your new PC.

I second everyone's option of checking to see if you can still run your HD but hooking it up to your current PC.
