Update: The vet sent Rori home with me just a bit ago.  She's still wheezing and occasionally has a barking cough but she sounds better and her mucous membranes are nice and pink instead of blue.  Let me back up.  The vet had called at noon to let me know she was able to come off oxygen and was improving.  Her temp had come back up to normal and

First, thank goodness your kitty is doing better!
Second, ouch for the epidural! (I've only had one in my life and its not an experience I'd like to repeat.)
