Wow, this is so tense and scary. I love seeing the demon's point of view. You do a masterful job showing the love between Sam and Dean, and the horror of what is happening to both of them. :D

I might have a bit of a soft spot for suicidal!Dean, and I'm about 99% convinced that the only reason he made it through S2 alive is because Sam needed him. And Sam was so scared for him in the first half of that season, and it was just... gah! I love my beautiful, broken boys so damn much.

That was incredibly tense. And Dean just broke my heart completely. Also... Mephistopheles? Awesome! If Show knows what's good for them, he'll make a canonical appearance. The show is so Faustian already anyways.....

I think I'd like it if he turned up on the show someday, but at this point, I'm not really holding out hope. Show is Faustian in its approach to some things, and incredibly Miltonian in others, but they have a tendency to disregard the really obvious characters, which makes me sad.
