Heat, Horses, and Other Musings

It's hot as hell today - as it was yesterday.  The farm stand went well and after we hung out in the bar, eating pizza, goat cheese, and  a salad I made from the left-over double-head of lettuce we forgot to sell. It was a delicious salad: fresh red lettuce, goat cheese, cashews, and French dressing.  I love the bar because I can treat it like my ( Read more... )

I wonder if wild horses are bored? Free range cows also roam around eating grass. Doesn't sound so bad to me, but I'm sitting in an office right now so any thought of being outside sounds appealing.

That salad sounds amazing! I love salads with nuts and fancy cheese.

My sister Stacy was also born in the Year of the Horse. She's very much like one, too, and it also says a lot about why she and I didn't get along much when we were growing up. I was a Year of the Rat, and Rats and Horses are not compatible.

Looks like the heat is on. The salad sounds yummy

I never stopped to think about that about Horses. I couldn't have a horse and not be riding it everyday and loving it. ♥ *hugs* :)
