This may not really be the last chicken post, but today I sold the flock. It makes me sad, actually, but Holly, the woman who bought them, was super cool and very much a chicken person like me. They're going to a good home! Craigslist is pretty damned cool, man!

Awww, I know it's for a good cause, but I'm sad to see your chickens (and roosters) gone. I'll miss the posts about them, but then I guess we'll be getting acquainted with a whole new flock soon.

You are so uber-cool that passing the roosters to someone else takes only a teensy fractional percentage off it. Plus you get major, major kindness points for not turning Remus the WereRooster into soup. Really, that puts you close to canonization as a Buddhist saint.

Poor Remus, he'll be getting a bag of ass-whooping from their other roosters, I am sure. However, she has a bunch of Australorpes, too, so they may be segregated to breed.
