Awww this was perfect! I loved seeing uncomfortable Sam when faced with his Stanford past, and comparing himself then to how he is now. It's always been an issue that Sam has struggled with, and I enjoyed how you explored that here.

Dean's pep talk was perfect, because yeah, Sam's still saving the world just like he wanted to.

I couldn't agree more--I feel like it's still lingering in there under his surface, untouched by canon, so I felt like I had to address it.

Yeah, he's totally saving the world. And can you picture him as a lawyer now?! :-D

I really like your Dean here, especially the whole interior monologue he has about pegging Diane's situation correctly. It sounds just like him.

I'm a die-hard Sam-girl, but of course I adore Dean too (always and ever bi-bro), and I've gotta say, writing from Dean's POV is just so much fun, because he's so much fun.
