Oh, thanks so much! That was really important to me, especially with this one. I've never really written John before, and it made me feel better to. He really was doing his best. :-)

I really love fics like this, with John reflecting on what it is, exactly, that their lives comprise. That moment at the very end was glorious. Great work!
