Farewell to a good friend

Where have I been?
January was a flash-past-me month. Usually, it is vast, never-ending expanse of white, frozen tundra, but this year, it was nothing more than a blur of events, decisions and activity.

In a previous blog, I confessed the necessity of my liking a main character if I'm going to stick with a television show or book series. I'm a bit less firm when it comes to movies -- I mean, I don't say: "this guy is a jerk!" and get up and leave the theatre. Movie Review: Enchanted
I knew I was in trouble when I realized I started smiling from the moment Enchanted began and hadn't stopped ten minutes later. It means I'm smitten . . . ahem, "enchanted," if you will, by the movie and am very pleased to say I remained that way until the end.
