So I bought Breaking Dawn at midnight on Saturday morning, and finished it Sunday night. Work is such a bother.

So because I have some things...about the book, this post is spoilerific. You've been warned.

A friend of mine said this to me regarding BD and I totally agree with her..

I think SM decided to take the characters somewhere they didn't want to go and they abandoned her. She was left on her own to write without their true voices in her head (with the exception of Seth who is game for anything) and she simply wasn't up to the task.

So.Very.Disappointed. :(

I was so afraid I was the only one and that maybe I just wasn't coming at it from the right angle. I think your idea about taking them somewhere else is an even better description of the book. Jacob was fine to me in the book, but it seemed like everyone else was just so far from center that it didn't make sense.

I hated to say it, because I loved LOVED the rest of the books, but this one just didn't do it for me.
