Stayed up late Sat night following the counts in the last few constituencies, until eyelids could stay open no longer. RTE election website excellent, each constituency count by count as well as streaming tweets with that constituency's hashtag. Hoping for a bit of a swing back to Labour but it's not looking good.

"After doing X" is a PAST TENSE, not a statement of intent. If you have it otherwise in the mouth of your Irish person, it's completely back to front.

This mistake is more common from North American writers than UK ones. Just spotted it in a Barbara Hambly book.

When the stalls selling Wexford strawberries at the side of the road appear, I always feel that summer has truly arrived.
