Part of what I love about Heroes is the never-ending stream of characters. There are dozens and dozens, and they just keep on cycling through! The idea that Chekov and Micah would be BFFs came to me about halfway through writing this, and I just had to work it in. But dude, my recepient requested no femslash and no incest, so I had to work hard to eliminate the more obvious Petrellicest and Elle/Claire. But clearly you know me too well!

And oh Peter/Kirk... Those two would get up to mischief together, because I can't see Peter telling Kirk no, and Kirk is definitely one to test limits. I'm seeing all sorts of kinky possibilities there (and thanks for the tip, Elle!). Hee, I'm glad you liked Peter calling out Kirk. Peter is all about pointing out hypocrisy, even if it means jeopardizing his own chances of getting back into bed with ridiculously hot people.

It was fun to write Heroes after a medium-sized Heroes drought, and I'm so happy you enjoyed!

This was fabulous. Love it when tomcat!Kirk finally gets a clue realizes he's got it bad for Bones. Is there more coming? You write them both so well. I had recently rewatched Conscience of the King. Kirk was definitely at his most slutty-willing-to-do-whatever-it-takes in that ep. Do write more. Kirk and Bones rock together. :o)

Kirk is a massive flirt in that episode. Take one for the team, Jim! And I haven't yet managed to write actual pure Kirk/Bones sexin', but there is of course sequel potential here. We'll see how it goes. Thanks for reading and commenting!

Have never seen Heroes in my life, but I enjoyed this very much!

He had the same concentrated, placid solidity Kirk had seen on him during surgery. When McCoy had a purpose, his work was really a thing of beauty.

Is it crazy that this was the hottest part of the whole fic? LOL.

Glad it worked for you even without any Heroes knowledge! I love Bones being all steadfast and professional. I agree: hot. Thanks for reading!

This is all kinds of fun, both the crossover (what a gorgeous description of Mohinder, I had to note that, and of Peter) and the Kirk/McCoy epicness. *applauds*

Mmm...Mohinder... Happy this was fun for you! Heroes has so many characters to play with, which makes it easier to cross it over, in my mind. Thanks for reading!

woohoo! i love heroes, i love all the characters that you incorporated (though i'm dumb and didn't get the micah reference until i read the comments). i love this crossover idea with the heroes kids as cadets (as long as I don't start thinking about Spock and Sylar - then my brain breaks). And of course everything with jim and bones was perfect and on target and so sweet in the end. ambitious and well done!!!

I was trying to fit in sprinklings of the Heroes crew wherever I could in the ST 'verse, but I agree with you on the Spock/Sylar count. I thought for a while about how that could possibly work and not be completely dumb, but came up with nothing, so I just avoided the issue. Yay avoidance! So glad you liked. Thanks for reading and commenting!
