I can't get those images out of my mind. The traps... why... I've seen just as bad, in their own way, back home during the war.
No, I know why. Because she died that way back in October. And I couldn't do anything about it. And then in that last curse when she nearly died from the same wound as back home again... and the curse before that where I nearly killed her myself! And even before that when I couldn't even find--!!
No. It really is just like the war. If I look back, I'm lost. I just have to keep moving forward. I'm tired.

A barrier in the seas around the city, in the skies above, maybe even in the lowest level of the Underground. It seems to take on different forms when encountered, but it's supposedly the reason none of us can leave whenever we please. And people have been trying all this time... in singles and pairs.
But I've never heard of an en masse attempt. If a group pushed against or attacked or merely sought out the barrier from different points in the city all at the same time. Could the barrier be overloaded? Could a weakness in it be found? Would it go any differently from when one person tries to find their way out? Has this been tried before? I know a few of us are interested. Only one way to know.

Police Filter - Special Assault
Good going, team, with our recent work. This is actually the first time that Special Assault has been deployed as a whole since it's inception. Unfortunately for us-- but fortunately for him-- Butler has since left the city and returned home.
After everyone's sufficiently recovered, let's see if we can get in a bit more unit training before the next big emergency?
